The Jordan Hu College of Science & Liberal Arts (JHCSLA) at NJIT, founded in 1982, bridges science, technology, and liberal arts. Renamed in 2024 to honor Jordan Hu ’89, it has played a key role in shaping NJIT’s academic landscape, fostering innovation across disciplines and industries. The Hillier College of Architecture and Design (HCAD) at NJIT offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture, design, and urban systems. The Martin Tuchman School of Management (MTSM) at NJIT, founded in 1988, offers undergraduate and graduate programs in business, management, and finance. The Newark College of Engineering (NCE) at NJIT, established in 1919, is one of the nation's oldest and largest engineering schools. With over 40,000 alumni worldwide, NCE offers 18 undergraduate, 21 master’s, and 9 doctoral programs, producing industry leaders in aerospace, telecommunications, electronics, and more.
The Ying Wu College of Computing (YWCC) at NJIT, established in 2001, is the largest computing program in the region, offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in AI, cybersecurity, data science, and more. With over 4,000 students and strong industry ties, YWCC is a major source of tech talent in the New York metro area, preparing graduates for top roles at companies like IBM, Mercedes-Benz, and Pfizer.
